HouseMasters Ltd has a strict policy regarding Health and Safety at work.
We understand the responsibilities and obligations the company has in applying all regulations and legislation related with H&S.
This policy shall be reviewed by the Directors as often as may be necessary.
 
Health and Safety at work Legislation/Regulations
 
OBJECTIVE
 
Our Company’s main objective is as far as it is reasonably practicable to be able to prevent, within the working and surrounding environment, any event or hazard which may result in:
 
Injury to a person (employee, member of the general public)
Damage or loss to plant, equipment or property
Any working programme delays in processes and/or operations
Occurrences and events which may negatively affect efficiency and /or prestige of our Company
RESPONSIBILITY
 
Promoting and applying the legislation is HouseMaster’s responsibility towards the client, personnel and the general public.
 
PERSONNEL OBLIGATIONS
 
Our personnel are aware of the strict H & S policy HouseMasters Ltd is applying to its projects and they are responsible to carry out any tasks “the safe way”. It is also a condition of service, that every employee co-operates fully in complying with, and helping to implement this policy. Any failure to do so will be considered as a serious disciplinary issue.
 
APPLICATION
 
All Health and Safety principles shall be applied to all operations undertaken by the Company and shall be the basis of any specific instructions, methods or systems necessary to achieve the Policy objective. To ensure that this Policy can be successfully implemented, the Company will provide any funds required in order to meet the Policy’s objectives.
 
PRECAUTIONING MEASURES
 
Suitable and adequate measures shall be taken to safeguard any person, equipment, property, or material likely to be exposed to any known or suspected hazards associated with or arising out the processes, tasks or operations being undertaken. HouseMasters will take into account, as early as the tendering stage, those factors which will help eliminate injury, damage and waste.
 
TRAINING AND INSTRUCTIONS
 
General training in health and safety is undertaken at regular intervals, so that all employees are aware of any potential hazards in relation to their work, and the latest procedures for overcoming them.
Specific training in safe working procedures, the operation of plant and machinery and accident prevention are amongst the training given to our employees.
 
HEALTH AND WELFARE
 
Adequate provision shall be made for the welfare needs of employees whilst carrying out their tasks and duties, and any hazard to health associated with the work shall be the subject of strict precautionary measures.
